We provide educational services at three levels; Early learning, Primary and Secondary school. The school calendar and curriculum is based on the Zambian Government school programme and the Examining Government body, The Examinations Council of Zambia at Grade seven, junior secondary school and the school certificate Examinations.
Reading
A very cardinal part of the school curriculum. A variety of methods are employed in teaching the children to read; this opens up their minds to the world and lets them enjoy texts.
Special Subjects
French and Information Technology are offered to everyone. A state of the art computer lab is available for use by all pupils.
Grades seven, Nine and Twelve are given weekly, full examination papers in all subjects to give them hands on practice and experience of the final examination papers.
Pre-school - Your child is given adequate attention from the inception. Chudleigh House School has a lower Grade One Class and an upper Grade one. Primary - Our primary level education places emphasis on the acquisition of basic numeracy and literacy skills. Teaching methods slowly become more formal and children experience a noticeable structure in classroom timetables. Click here for more info...
Secondary - We offer classes from Grade 8 to 12 covering the Junior Secondary school syllabus and school certificate and GCE’ O ‘level syllabus under the auspices of the Examinations Council of Zambia. Click here for more info...
Computers and Technology
Computer literacy is taught from grades one to nine and it familiarises the students with all aspects of computer technology. Children make the most of a well equipped computer centre with qualified, dedicated and experienced staff.
During the mid term break all pupils are given holiday assignments which cover work covered in the first six weeks of the term. Examination Grades get free tuition every three weeks of the first and second holidays. Objectives of the scheme are:
- Forecast on Exam Expectations
- Revision of the various Exams
- Enlightening learners in Examination techniques
- Time management during Examinations
Learners are urged to develop interest in reading through sustained silent & extensive reading by borrowing texts from the library
