Chudleigh House Pre-school believes that children learn through play. At this age the school instils a love for learning. Pre-school is time of learning through experience. Everything a child takes part in at this phase is classified as learning. The teachers value excellence and take a well rounded approach to learning. School days are planned around individual needs for growth to cultivate emotional, physical, social, intellectual and spiritual development.

Chudleigh House Pre-school forms the foundation of their philosophy, 'towards a brighter future'. Here these young children are taught professionally within a loving, fun, happy and caring environment.

Your child is given adequate attention from the inception. Chudleigh House School has a lower Grade One Class and an upper Grade one. This is meant to solidify the learning base of your child. The focus is to prepare your child for success in Grade seven while coaching the child in social responsibility.

Children are taught phonics, reading, comprehension, handwriting, spelling and grammar. These subjects lay a foundation for communicating in English. French is introduced early in the curriculum. Pre-math, creative activities and an introduction to special papers improve the child's analysis. Information Technology is also introduced early so children become familiar with computer user-interface and the various input devices.

EDUCATIONAL SUBJECTS

French is introduced early in the curriculum.

Information Technology is also introduced early to ensure that children are not on familiar but comfortable with the hadling of IT equipment.
