The 6th Chudleigh House School Media Day was a memorable celebration of creativity, innovation, collaboration, and student talent. The event brought together learners, educators, and industry professionals for an engaging day that showcased the power of media, communication, and creative expression.

This year's programme featured a variety of interactive sessions designed to inspire learners to explore opportunities in the ever-evolving media and creative industries. Through practical demonstrations, insightful discussions, and live performances, students gained valuable exposure to the skills and possibilities within the world of media.

A special acknowledgement goes to the dedicated members of the Chudleigh House School Media Club, whose commitment, creativity, and teamwork played a vital role in delivering a successful event. Their planning and execution reflected the passion and professionalism that continue to define the Media Club's growing impact within the school community.

The school also extends its sincere appreciation to Ms. Mwaka Mugala, Natasha Omokhodion, and Loop College for sharing their expertise and inspiring our learners. Their contributions enriched the experience by providing practical insights into media production, storytelling, and creative innovation, encouraging students to pursue their interests with confidence.

We thank everyone who contributed to making this year's Media Day a resounding success and look forward to continuing this tradition of excellence in the years ahead.

Our Interact Club flagged off the drilling of a borehole at Silverest Secondary School, a project made possible through their dedication, teamwork and successful fundraising efforts.

This is service in action, proving that when young people lead with purpose, they can create lasting change.

Our 2026 School Arts Festival was a spectacular showcase of the incredible gifts and talents of our learners. From captivating performances to inspiring displays of creativity, the event truly reflected the passion and potential within our school community.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our parents and guardians who turned up in large numbers. Your unwavering support and encouragement continue to inspire our learners to pursue excellence both inside and outside the classroom.

A special thank you to our Guest of Honour, Mr. Brian Bwembya commonly known as BFlow, for gracing the occasion and remaining with us throughout the event. Your words of encouragement, urging our learners to nurture and build on their talents, left a lasting impression and motivated them to dream bigger.

Together, we continue to inspire, nurture and celebrate the next generation of leaders, innovators and artists.

This year's venue was spacious and hosted approximately 10 schools, alongside several other exhibitors offering services in sectors such as healthcare. Our exhibition stand was well positioned, professionally presented and highly visible throughout the event. The team was enthusiastic and actively engaged with visitors, showcasing our school's services.

The Expo also provided an opportunity to learn from other exhibitors. We learnt a few things like other exhibition materials that we could add to what we currently have to further enhance our participation in future expos.

However, despite the team's commitment and high level of engagement, the overall attendance by parents was lower than anticipated. Throughout the day, we engaged with only 15 prospective parents, which is significantly lower than the turnout experienced at previous Purple Rhino expos. It appeared that the location may not have been as convenient or attractive for the target audience, which may have contributed to the reduced attendance.

Overall, the event was beneficial from a networking and learning perspective. Now pushing to turn today's contacts to actual enrolments.

A formal letter will be prepared and submitted to the organizers to provide constructive feedback on this year's event, particularly regarding attendance, while also appreciating the opportunity to participate.

It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved wife, Petronella Chisanga, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, 13th June, 2026.

My wife was not only my life partner and confidante, but also a remarkable woman whose love, compassion, wisdom and unwavering dedication touched the lives of countless people. She devoted her life to serving others and building a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

On behalf of our children, grandchildren and the entire family, I wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers, messages of condolence and support we have received from friends, colleagues, institutions, churches and members of the public all around the world during this difficult period.

We take comfort in the many lives she impacted and in the enduring legacy she leaves behind.

Our Grade 12 learners at Chudleigh House School have successfully completed a three-day Retreat Program, the program provides them with an opportunity to pause, refocus and draw inspiration as they prepare for their final examinations and the exciting future ahead.

We were delighted to welcome our learners back to school today and it was wonderful to see them settle straight into serious but fun business. The energy, smiles and enthusiasm across the campus set a positive tone for the term and the year ahead.

As we begin this new chapter, we look forward to a year filled with growth, discovery and memorable learning experiences, working together to help every learner thrive and achieve their best.

At the prestigious Victoria Falls Schools Golf Tournament, hosted at the beautiful Elephant Hills Golf Course in Zimbabwe and what an incredible experience for our young golfers!

Our CHS learners proudly represented the school as they competed in both the 9 Holes and 18 Holes categories, showcasing precision, discipline and remarkable sportsmanship on an international stage.

Chudleigh House School was the only school from Zambia participating in this tournament, flying the Zambian flag high and making us all proud. We are proud to share that Chudleigh House School scooped a total of 8 medals, with three learners emerging as champions in their respective categories.

Our CHS Scouts proudly took part in the Lusaka District Scouts Academic, Sports and Social Day held at Pakachele Community School in Foxdale.

It was a day filled with fun, learning, and teamwork as Scouts from different schools and groups came together to compete in academics, sports and art. We're proud of our Scouts for representing Chudleigh House School with great enthusiasm and teamwork!

Our CHS swimmers made a big splash at the Junior Development Swimming Gala held at OYDC! Competing against OYDC Swimming Club and Lusaka Sharks Academy, our talented learners showed off their skill, speed and determination and they did not disappoint!

From Kickboard Backstroke to Freestyle and Breaststroke, our swimmers gave it their all, bringing home several gold and silver medals and gaining valuable experience and confidence along the way.

We are incredibly proud of our CHS Junior Swimmers, they have made waves and made us proud.

Our Annual Inter-house Swimming Gala was held at our beautiful school pool! The event was filled with energy, teamwork, and excitement as each house cheered their swimmers on.

Such competitions go beyond winning, they build confidence, discipline and team spirit, all while celebrating the joy of sports.

Our teachers celebrated Teachers' Day in style! From dancing and games to a hearty feast and fun awards, it was a day filled with laughter, joy and appreciation for the amazing work they do every day.

What a day! Thank you to everyone who came through for our 2025 Family Fun Day & Food Market. From games and rides to music, food and laughter, the event was a true celebration of family and community.

Memorable moment at Chudleigh House School was witnessed, the official installation of the Interact Club Board for 2025–2026!

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, with Mr. Patrick D Chisanga, Past Rotary International Director for Zone 21 & 22, serving as Guest of Honour. We were also delighted to host Dr. Brian Chituwo, current President of the Rotary Club of Nkwazi (our proud parent club) Rotarian John, Past President of the Rotary Club of Nkwazi and members of the Rotaract Club of The University of Zambia -UNZA.

Filled with inspiration, celebration and the spirit of service above self. Congratulations to the newly installed Board, we can't wait to see all the impactful projects you will lead this year!

What an incredible day it has been hosting the Marakids Fun Run 2025 right here at Chudleigh House School!

Over 300 enthusiastic young runners, aged 5 to 16, filled our grounds with energy, laughter and determination. From the 2.5km health walk to the 5km challenge, every participant showed courage, teamwork and a true spirit of fun.

Our learners had an unforgettable educational tour to Swakopmund, Namibia! From the Swakopmund Museum to the breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean meeting the Namib Desert, the dunes, quad biking, flamingos and even learning about Namport at Walvis Bay, it was adventure and learning all in one!

We're grateful for safe travels back on 23rd August. Thank you to our parents for the trust, and above all, glory to God for His mercies.

What a day to remember! The 4th Annual Boys' Conference was packed with energy, wisdom and unforgettable moments. Our boys learned, laughed and left inspired to lead with courage and purpose.

The event was made even more special by the presence of our Guest of Honor, Mr. Robby Nyirenda, a celebrated actor, film director and producer. We were honored to welcome delegates from eight African countries as part of the Regional Conference on Competency Enhancement and Experiential Learning, hosted by the Teaching Council of Zambia, Ministry of Education and UNESCO.

As one of the selected learning sites, we proudly showcased our approach to Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Our teachers delivered an insightful presentation, highlighting how CPDs are embedded in our culture of growth, collaboration and excellence in teaching.

From coding challenges to hands-on tech experiments, our learners are exploring the digital world with excitement and creativity. At Chudleigh House School, the ICT Club isn't just about learning technology, it's also about building future innovators!

We held our entrepreneurship day where our learners from the PCECL and Secondary School showcased their entrepreneurship skills.

From the eating competition, the dances, the sketches, the paintings etc, we enjoyed every bit of the showcase!
